Eastwood Symphonic is a tribute from a son to his father, an actor, director and musician. At each step of this musical
road movie, Kyle and his quintet will perform with a new symphony orchestra to offer a rich and emotional rendition
of the soundtracks associated with Clint Eastwood’s masterpieces, under the baton of conductor Gast Waltzing.
This concert is a musical expression of the close-knit relationship between two art forms, that have in common the power of emoionally charged dreams, and between two artists, who besides their family ties share the same passion for cinema and music.

1970’s San Francisco Inspector and other characters that remain vivid in our memory? The virtuoso film director, who tirelessly questions the myth of the American hero and our social order through various genres: westerns, detective movies, war movies, political statements? How about the jazz and country fan? Today, Clint Eastwood, at 91, has just produced his 39th film: Cry Macho. Some of us will discover that he’s also the composer behind the music of some of his own movies, or that his son Kyle helped him polish his original soundtracks, through his compositions and arrangements. With his album called Cinematic, released in 2019, Kyle Eastwood, an eminent double bass jazz musician and leader of his own quintet, had already released a vibrant tribute to his two life passions, instilling his creativity, sensitivity and jubilation to original soundtracks that have since become classics. Is it hard to work with your own father?
Both as an actor and musician, Kyle has always been passionately in love with what he does. And without the slightest he sitation, he replies: “Clint and I have always had a beautiful working relationship“.
The project is also available without orchestra under the title “Eastwood by Eastwood”, featuring the quintet composed of Kyle Eastwood on double bass and electric bass, Andrew McCormack on piano, Chris Higginbottom on drums, Quentin Collins on trumpet, and Brandon Allen on saxophone.
